2006 IEEE Masaru Ibuka Consumer Electronics Award Recipients
"For contributions to the development of the vestigial sideband (VSB) digital transmission system for digital television broadcasting." Wayne Bretl, Richard Citta and Wayne Luplow, will be honored with the 2006 IEEE Masaru Ibuka Consumer Electronics Award. Sponsored by Sony, the award is to recognize outstanding contributions in the field of consumer electronics.
