Bon Echo Alpha 3 Milestone Released

Bon Echo Alpha 3 was released as scheduled. New features and changes in this milestone that require feedback include:

* Built in Anti-Phishing protection.
* Search suggestions now appear with search history in the search box for Google and Yahoo!
* Support for client-side session and persistent storage.

I have been using Bon Echo Alpha 2 for a couple of weeks now and I have not encountered any crash. Let see Alpha 3....

Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Release Candidate Released

The Ubuntu team has announce the released of Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Release Candidate codenamed "Dapper Drake". With Ubuntu 6.06 LTS RC comes many bug fixes, improved artwork, and general fixes all around.

Volvo Ocean Race: ABN Amro One Overall Winner

ABN Amro One has won the Volvo Ocean Race after taking an unassailable lead following its victory in leg seven. The Dutch boat has now won six of the seven legs in the round-the-world race and cannot be caught by its rivals. [Link]

GNOME 2.15.2 Released

GNOME 2.15.2 has been released. It is the second development release on the road towards GNOME 2.16.0, which will be released in September 2006. So go download it, compile it, test it, hack on it, document it, translate it, and fix it. Complete details are in the announcement.

FireFox 2.0 alpha 2 is released.

It's not yet official, but it seems FireFox 2.0 alpha 2 code name "Bon Echo Alpha 2" is Out. Release notes is here, you can download here(not sure if it will be the final build).

Update:
We do not recommend that anyone other than developers and testers download this Alpha 2 milestone release. It is intended for testing purposes only.

Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.3 Released

Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.3 has been released. It fixes a publicly disclosed denial of service weakness. All users are encouraged to upgrade to this version.
