ABN AMRO ONE sailed to victory in the first leg of the Volvo Ocean Race, while its sister boat ABN AMRO 2, sail second into Cape Town. Brasil 1 takes third and Ericsson Racing Team fourth. On overall points, ABN AMRO 1 is in first place with 11.5 points, Brasil 1 and Ericsson are equal third on 10.5 points, with ABN AMRO 2 fourth on 9.5 and Sunergy and Friends fifth on 4.5. 2nd leg will start on January 2, 2006 from Cape Town to Melbourne.
