Siemens Joins Open Source Development Labs (OSDL)

Global electronics and engineering giant to contribute to initiatives of world’s leading Linux advocacy consortium.
Siemens, one of the world’s largest electrical engineering and electronics companies, today announced it has joined the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL), a global consortium dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Linux&reg. Siemens will participate in the Lab’s Carrier Grade Linux (CGL), Mobile Linux Initiative (MLI) and Data Center Linux (DCL) working groups.
