Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 4 Released

Steve Langasek has announced the released of Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 4, code name "Hardy Heron". Alpha 4 is the fourth in a series of milestone CD images that will be released throughout the Hardy development cycle. The Alpha images are known to be reasonably free of showstopper CD build or installer bugs, while representing a very recent snapshot of Hardy. Happy testing...

W3C Publishes HTML 5 Draft

Future of Web Content
W3C today published an early draft of HTML 5, a major revision of the markup language for the Web. The HTML Working Group is creating HTML 5 to be the open, royalty-free specification for rich Web content and Web applications. [Link]
