KOffice 1.6.3 Released
The KDE Project today announced the release of KOffice version 1.6.3, the second maintenance release of KOffice 1.6. This is the last maintenance release of the 1.6 series, containing mainly bug fixes.
Firefox 3.0 Alpha 5 Released
Firefox 3.0 Alpha 5 is now available for download for Microsoft Windows 2000 or later, MacOS X 10.3.9 or later and Linux.Some of the changes included with Firefox 3.0 Alpha 5 are Bookmarks portion of Places has been enabled, New Javascript-based Password Manager and bug fixes. Firefox 3.0 Alpha 5 is being made available for testing purposes only, and is intended for web application developers and our testing community.

Ubuntu 7.10 Alpha 1 Released
Martin Pitt has announced the first alpha release of Ubuntu 7.10 "Gutsy Gibbon Tribe 1", which will in time become Ubuntu 7.10. Tribe 1 is the first in a series of milestone CD images that will be released throughout the Gutsy development cycle.

Fedora 7 Released
Fedora 7 code name "Moonshine" has been released.
