VHS(Video Home System) is 30 years
It's a bit late but VHS(Video Home System) is 30 years old. It was developed by Victor Company of Japan, Limited(JVC) and launched in September 1976. It became a standard format for consumer recording and viewing, after competing in a format war with Sony's Betamax. Today, JVCs announced that it had been awarded the prestigious IEEE Milestone in recognition of its development of the VHS home video format.
