PC-BSD 1.3 BETA2 (Khan) Released

FreeBSD 6.2-RC1 Released
Ken Smith has announced the release of FreeBSD 6.2-RC1.
We have now reached the Release Candidate stage of the FreeBSD 6.2 release cycle. A few significant problems had been discovered during the initial BETA testing and those issues should now be fixed.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Beta 2 Available
Red Hat has announced the second beta release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5. This is the first Red Hat Enterprise Linux release that includes Xen-based open source virtualization technology. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Beta 2 release contains virtualization support on the x86 and x86-64 architectures as well as a technology preview of Xen for Itanium 2. Debian 3.1r4 Released
The Debian project has announce the fourth update of its stable distribution Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 (codename `sarge'). This update mainly adds corrections for security problems to the stable release, along with a few adjustment to serious problems. Those who frequently update from security.debian.org won't have to update many packages and most updates from security.debian.org are included in this update.
